Inrichting van een afwerkingklaar ruwbouwappartement. Na analyse en optimalisatie van de ruimtes en looplijnen, werden de technieken volledig aangepakt, en waar nodig aangepast, vervangen of uitgebreid (o.a. domotica). Daarna volgde de volledige inrichting, waarbij al het vast meubilair op maat is ontworpen. De kern is een strak en sober lijnenspel, terugkerend in 3 dimensies. Het sobere kleurenpallet wordt hoofdzakelijk bepaald door de warme, natuurlijke materialen, en geaccentueerd door de nodige verlichting.

Inrichting van een penthouse-kantoor tot een high level recruteringskantoor. De gevraagde kernelementen waren strakheid & soberheid, lichtheid en maximaal licht/zicht voor de medewerkers. Omwille van de opmerkelijke dakstructuur die in 2 richtingen helt en de volledig glazen zijgevels zijn alle zones met ondersteunende activiteiten centraal in de ruimte geplaatst, geschakeerd in 2 identieke blokken. Die blokken staan, met hun eigen draagstructuur en plafond, volledig los van alles, wat de architecturale beleving van de ruimtes maximaliseert. Hierdoor kunnen ook alle werkposten periferisch geplaatst worden. Omdat alle technieken (incl. ventilatie) in de verhoogde vloer ingewerkt zijn, wordt bovendien een maximum aan flexibiliteit bekomen.

Ombouwing van een oude mobilhome tot een mobiele, volwaardige kantoorruimte voor 3 personen. Deze kan bij events en roadshows worden gebruikt, ofwel als tijdelijk kantoor bij verbouwingswerken. De inrichting sluit volledig aan bij het Adecco-concept : opsplitsing front & back office, stijl, kleur, materiaalgebruik, … In het kantoor zijn dezelfde voorzieningen als in een traditioneel kantoor aanwezig: keuken, toilet, technieken (UTP-bekabeling, verwarming, ventilatie, …)

Inrichting van een high-level front office (met kleine back office) als een top-carrièrecentrum te Brussel. De gevraagde kernelementen waren visibiliteit, kleur en levendigheid (beweging). Daarvoor werd - o.w.v. de ligging aan een druk kruispunt - ander (transparant) glas in de gevel geplaatst. Zo is de uit 4 grote schermen opgebouwde videowall, net als de gestuurde kleurverlichting, een eye-catcher voor de passanten buiten. Deze gekleurde LED-lijn vormt de visuele as annex verbinding van de hele ruimte, en is zowel in de vloer als in het maatmeubilair verwerkt. Verder werd de nodige multimedia voorzien, met o.a. centraal gestuurde schermen, inclusief gerichte luidsprekerdouches, voor de bedrijfspresentaties naar sollicitanten.

De ontwikkeling van een nieuw kantoorconcept voor het nieuwe hoofdkantoor van Mercator te Antwerpen. De verhuis naar een nieuw gebouw is een uitgelezen kans om bestaande processen en de manier waarop een bedrijf functioneert te herdenken. Processen en teams wijzigen constant, maar meestal volgt de werkomgeving niet met dezelfde snelheid. Mercator verhuist naar een nieuw gebouw en wil zijn kantoorconcept aanpassen aan zijn toekomstige noden. Gebouwanalyse, technische en ruimtelijke beoordeling, het ontwerpen van een nieuw flexibel kantoorconcept en zeker niet te vergeten het communicatieproces.

Verbouwing/inrichting van een traditionele rijwoning, waarbij de dubbele aanbouw (1 bouwlaag) achteraan vervangen wordt door een grote, open leefkeuken met kookeiland & ingewerkte kasten (beide maatwerk) en met een maximum aan licht en zicht door de extra koepels en grote schuiframen. De koppeling tussen de leefkeuken en de bestaande woning gebeurt d.m.v. een grote kubus, waarin alle natte functies weggewerkt worden (badkamer, toilet, aparte doucheruimte). De kubus trekt zich visueel los van de ruimte door een ingebouwde aluminiumplint boven- en onderaan met ingewerkte LED-verlichting. Tijdens de werken worden ook alle technieken volledig vervangen. De woning wordt d.m.v. de nieuwe ketel klassiek met radiatoren verwarmd, terwijl de leefkeuken tegelijk verwarmd en verlucht wordt d.m.v. vloerroosters in de zichtbare betonnen gietvloer.

Workplace consultancy bij de verhuis van AWW naar hun nieuwe locatie. Daarbij werd ook gevraagd een multifunctionele boardroom in te richten, en een ontvangstbalie te ontwerpen, rekening houdend met de gestelde veiligheidseisen voor het personeel.

Verbouwing/inrichting van een oude industriële garenververij tot een kantoorloft met bijkomende private woonfunctie. Dit alles werd in een open minimalistische, industriële look uitgevoerd (glas, blauw onbehandeld staal,stralingspanelen als verwarming,opbouwverlichting…) met respect voor, en maximaal behoud van bestaande typerende elementen zoals de structuur, de betonvloer en de rolbrug. Hoewel deze laatste voorzien was te verdwijnen, werd ze uiteindelijk een eye-catcher in de ruimte!

Project management bij een verzakte veranda: Door een grondwaterspoeling (kapotte regenwaterafvoer onder de constructie) kantelde de veranda, waardoor deze losscheurde van de hoofdwoning. De veranda is volledig gedemonteerd, waarna de vloerplaat, funderingen en technieken volledig uitgebroken en heraangelegd werden. Hierna is dezelfde veranda volledig terug heropgebouwd.

L’essentiel de l’aménagement consiste en un jeu de lignes rigide et sobre, qui se manifeste en trois dimensions. L’aménagement d’un nouveau bureau en attique en bureau de grand standing pour le recrutement d’employés de haut niveau. Les éléments essentiels demandés étaient la rigidité et la sobriété, la légèreté et un éclairage naturel optimal pour les collaborateurs. À cause de la toiture remarquable inclinée en deux sens et des façades latérales entièrement vitrées, toutes les zones où s’effectuent des activités d’appui sont placées au centre de l’espace, divisées en deux blocs identiques. Ces blocs sont, avec leur propre structure portante et plafond, complètement indépendants, ce qui maximalise l’expérience architecturale des espaces. Ce concept permet aussi de disposer les postes de travail à la périphérie de l’espace et d’obtenir une efficacité maximale, étant donné que toutes les techniques (y inclus la ventilation) sont intégrées dans le sol surélevé.

Transformation d’un vieux mobil home en bureau mobile à part entière pour trois personnes. Celui-ci peut être utilisé à l’occasion d’événements et de road shows, ou comme bureau provisoire en cas de travaux de rénovation. L’aménagement correspond complètement au concept d’Adecco au niveau de la division front office/back office, du style, de la couleur et de l’usage des matériaux. Le bureau est équipé de la même façon qu’un bureau traditionnel. Il y a par exemple une cuisine, une toilette et aussi des techniques (câblage UTP, chauffage, ventilation, …).

L’aménagement d’un high-level front office (avec un petit back office) comme un véritable centre de top carrière. Les éléments essentiels demandés étaient la visibilité, la couleur et la vivacité (mouvement). Pour cette raison et en fonction de l’emplacement du bâtiment qui se situe à un carrefour très animé, d’autres vitres – transparentes – ont été placées dans la façade. Ainsi, le videowall composé de quatre écrans assez grands, est également pour les passants dehors une chose qui tire l’œil. Cette ligne LED colorée constitue l’axe visuel et sert de liaison entre les différentes composantes de l’espace. Elle est intégrée aussi bien dans le sol que dans le mobilier sur mesure. Le front office est équipé d’options multimédias très performantes. Il possède entre autres des écrans à commande centralisée, y inclus des douches sonores, en fonction des présentations d’entreprises destinées aux postulants.

Le développement d’un nouveau concept de bureaux pour le nouveau bureau principal de Mercator à Anvers. Le déménagement des bureaux vers un édifice neuf est une occasion rêvée pour réinventer certains processus existants et la façon dont une entreprise fonctionne. Les processus et les équipes changent constamment, mais le plus souvent, l’environnement de travail ne suit pas à la meme vitesse. Mercator déménage vers un immeuble neuf et veut adapter son concept de bureaux en fonction de ses futurs besoins. L’analyse du bâtiment, le jugement technique et spatial, le développement d’un nouveau concept de bureaux flexible et, à ne pas oublier, le processus de communication.

La rénovation et l’aménagement d’une maison mitoyenne, dont la construction accolée double (1 niveau) du côté arrière est remplacée par une grande cuisine ouverte avec îlot et armoires encastrées (travail fait sur mesure). Les coupoles ajoutées et les grandes fenêtres à glissière offrent un maximum de lumière et de visibilité. La cuisine est en communication avec la maison existante par le biais d’un grand cube, où sont regroupés les espaces dits humides (cuisine, toilette, douche séparée). Le cube se détache visuellement de l’espace par la présence (en haut et en bas) d’une plinthe en aluminium avec éclairage LED intégré. Pendant les travaux, toutes les techniques sont entièrement remplacées. La maison est chauffée au moyen d’une nouvelle chaudière classique avec radiateurs tandis que la cuisine est à la fois chauffée et ventilée par le biais de grilles de sol dans le sol visiblement coulé en béton.

Transformation d’un hôtel particulier partiellement classé du XIXe siècle avec terrasse intérieure en hôtel de luxe. Bien que chaque chambre ait son propre style et sa propre décoration, les travaux de transformation et d’aménagement ont été effectués dans le respect des éléments anciens caractéristiques.

Workplace consultancy lors du déménagement d’AWW vers leur nouveau site. L’aménagement d’une salle de conférence multifonctionnelle et la conception d’un comptoir d’acceuil selon les exigences de sécurité requises.

Transformation d’une ancienne teinturerie industrielle en loft de bureau à usage d’habitation et professionnel. Pour l’aménagement de ce loft de bureau, on a misé sur le look minimaliste et industriel (créé par l’emploi de verre, d’acier brut, de panneaux rayonnants pour chauffage, d’éclairage apparent,...) tout en respectant et en conservant au maximum les éléments caractéristiques existants comme la structure, le sol en béton et le pont roulant. Bien qu’originellement l’intégration de ce dernier élément ne soit pas prévue, elle n’en est pas moins une véritable réussite sur le plan visuel.

Interior design of a ready-to-finish apartment shell. After analysis and optimization of the spaces and walking lines, all techniques were adjusted, replaced or expanded (for example: home automation). After that, the complete finishing followed in which all the fixed furniture is designed and tailor made. The concept is a tight and sober game of lines, returning in the 3 dimensions. The sober color pallet is mainly determined by the warm, natural materials, accentuated by the necessary lighting.

Switching a new penthouse-office into a high level recruitment office. The requested key thoughts were “tight & sober”, lightness and a maximum of natural light and sight for the employees. Because of the remarkable roof structure, inclining in 2 directions, and the completely glassed sides, all zones with support activities are placed centrally in the open space, molded in 2 identical blocks. Those 2 blocks, with their own structure and ceiling, are completely independent, which maximizes the architectural feeling. Because of that, all workstations can be placed peripherally. Together with all techniques (including ventilation) being placed into the floor, a maximum of flexibility is being achieved.

Conversion of an old mobilhome into a fully mobile office for 3 persons. This can be used at events or road shows, or as a temporarily office during renovation works. The design completely follows the Adecco-concept: division of front & back office, style, color, materials,… In the mobile office you can find the same equipment as in a traditional office such as: kitchen, toilet and techniques (UTP-cabling, heating, ventilation,…)

Design of a high-level front office (with small back office) as a top-career centre in Brussels. The requested key thoughts were visibility, color and animation (movement) In favor of the requests, and because of the specific location next to a busy intersection, the windows in the front were replaced by clear glass. Thanks to this, the video wall – mounted up by 4 big screens - as well as the directed color lighting are eye-catchers for the people passing by. This colored LED-line forms the visual axe or connection in the complete space, and is integrated in the floor and the tailor made furniture. Next to that, all necessary multimedia was integrated. (f.e. central directed screens including directed sound showers, for the company presentations towards candidates)

The development a new office concept for the new HQ of Mercator in Antwerp. A move to a new building is a great opportunity for re-thinking processes and the way an organisation works. Processes and teams keep changing all the time, but the work environment mostly doesn't keep up the same speed. Mercator is moving to a new building and wants to adapt their office concept to their future needs. Analysis of the needs, the technical & spatial evaluation of the building (including micro-implementation), the development of a new flexible office concept and last but not least the communication process.

Renovation / design of a traditional 2 side-house, in which the double extension in the back (1 storey) is being replaced by a large, open living kitchen with cooking island and integrated cupboards (both custom made) and a maximum of light and visibility because of the extra skylights and extra large windows. The link between the kitchen and the living is established by integrating a large cube, in which all wet functions are grouped (bathroom, toilet, separate shower). The cube pulls apart visually from the area by an integrated aluminum plinth, both top and bottom, with integrated LED lights. During the work, all techniques are fully replaced. The house is, by the new boiler system, heated in a traditional way with radiators, while the living kitchen is heated and ventilated through floor grids, integrated in the visible concrete flooring.

Renovation / refurbishing of a former industrial yarn-painting factory into an office loft with additional private residential function. All this was designed in an open minimalistic, industrial look (glass, untreated blue steel, radiant panels for heating, mounted lighting ...) with respect for, and maximum preservation of existing typical elements such as structure, the concrete floor and the crane. Although this originally was provided to disappear, it finally became an eye-catcher in the office!

Project management for a prolapsed porch : Because of a groundwater swill (broken rainwater drainage underneath the construction), the porch tilted and got torn of the main building. The porch has completely been disassembled. Afterwards, the floor plate, foundations and techniques have been fully removed and replaced, before reassembling the porch.
